Sūrat Al-Isrāʾ, Āyah 53

“And tell My servants to speak what is best. Indeed, Satan stirs up conflict among them. Surely Satan has always been a clear enemy to humanity.”

Highlights

When someone upsets me with a word, I can respond angrily and make the conflict worse, or I can remember Allah’s words: “Let them speak what is best” and choose a calm response that preserves my dignity without fueling the conflict.

Can I choose the better word in a moment of anger?
