“They have no protector besides Him, nor any intercessor, so that they may become mindful.”
Sūrat Al-Anʿām, Āyah 51

“Say: All intercession belongs to Allah. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned.”
Sūrat Az-Zumar, Āyah 44

“On that Day, intercession will not benefit anyone except for whom the Most Merciful has given permission and whose speech He is pleased with.”
Sūrat Ṭā Hā, Āyah 109

“Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself over the Throne, managing the affair. There is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so serve Him. Will you not then remember?”
Sūrat Yūnus, Āyah 3

“And Allah is the One who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days, then established Himself over the Throne. You have no protector or intercessor besides Him. Will you not then take heed?”
Sūrat As-Sajdah, Āyah 4

“Allah—there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Magnificent.”
Sūrat Al-Baqarah, Āyah 255

“And when My servants ask you about Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the call of the caller when they call upon Me. So let them respond to Me and have faith in Me, so that they may be rightly guided.”
Sūrat Al-Baqarah, Āyah 186

Highlights

Sūrat Az-Zumar (The Groups), Āyah 44

“Say: All intercession belongs to Allah. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned.”

All intercession belongs to Allah (Subḥānahu). Rather than relying on someone to intercede for me, I reflect on my own responsibilities and choices, knowing that I will return to Him and be accountable for how I live.

Am I focusing on my own responsibilities before Allah (Subḥānahu), or relying on someone else to intercede for me?
